We are sad to announce that Dr Copping has now left The Friarsgate Practice. We know many of our patients will be sorry to see him go, and we thank him for his dedicated care and commitment to our community.
We are pleased to share that Dr Andy Baring will be joining the practice in February 2026. Dr Baring brings a wealth of experience and a friendly, patient-centred approach, and we look forward to welcoming him to the team.
In the meantime, our existing GPs will provide care for Dr Copping’s patients to ensure continuity during this transition period.
You do not need to contact the practice — we will manage the process and move all patients to Dr Baring in February. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate requests for a specific GP.
