
Melanie Wedlock (she/her)
Clinical Pharmacy Service ManagerAs the the Clinical Pharmacy Service Manager, I oversee the clinical pharmacy team and the service that we provide across the three GP practices that form Winchester City Primary Care Network (‘PCN’). I have worked in primary care (GP practices) for many years prior to my current role, and I also have a background of working in hospitals for 11 years – this included covering healthcare of the elderly, haematology, and respiratory wards, as well as working in clinical trials for 3 years. I am a pharmacist prescriber and have done additional post-graduate training in Medicines Management and the Optimisation of Medicines in Care Homes (as part of a large national project). I love supporting the development of others; in the past I have worked as a tutor for the University of Manchester Centre for Postgraduate Pharmacy Education (CPPE), and I now act as a clinical supervisor and mentor for my current pharmacy team. I also have a background in quality assurance and governance.

Emmanuel Ejii (he/him)
Clinical PharmacistEmmanuel joined the practice as a clinical pharmacist in July 2020.He provides additional support with any medication related issues and has a specialist interest in diabetes and Endocrine and is the lead pharmacist in this at HHFT. Emmanuel previously lived and worked on the Isle of Wight for 5 years, he loves spending time with his family and watching football.

Teresa Turley (she/her)
Clinical PharmacistTeresa joined the practice in September 2021.She enjoys all aspects of her job but, especially enjoys liaising with patients regarding medication queries and learning about new medications and their benefits.Teresa is originally from Ireland but, has lived in England since 2014. She loves trying new foods, socialising with friends and travelling when she can!

Loreta Ponomariov (she/her)
Clinical PharmacistI joined the PCN in May 2020, bringing experience from both community and hospital pharmacy. I’m soon to qualify as a hypertension specialist pharmacist and am eager to continue expanding my knowledge in other cardiovascular areas. I have a special interest in deprescribing in elderly patients and those with frailty, and I’m passionate about making a positive impact on people’s medication management. I feel fortunate to work alongside a fantastic team and to have the support of incredible mentors.
Outside of work, I love cooking, playing the piano and staying active. As a mum of two young children, I’m enjoying — and learning from — the adventure of balancing family life and a fulfilling career.

Chioma Odukwe (she/her)
Clinical PharmacistChioma joined the practice as a clinical pharmacist in March 2024. She provides support on medicines related issues as part of the pharmacy team within the practice. She brings with her seven years of experience of working within community pharmacy in Southampton and Winchester. She loves travelling and exploring the world, one country at a time.

Isha Hundal (she/her)
Clinical Pharmacist, MPharmIsha joined the practice in Sept 2023 as a newly qualified pharmacist. She works as part of the pharmacy team within the surgery and helps with medication related queries. She has a special interest in elderly care. In her spare time, she enjoys playing netball and spending time with family.

Jason Anakwue (he/him)
Clinical PharmacistJason joined the practice in March 2023.He works as part of our Primary Care Network (PCN) team. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling.

Rachael Walters (she/her)
Pharmacy TechnicianRachael is a pharmacy technician, and qualified in 1999. Rachael has worked in all aspects of the pharmacy role, mainly in secondary care. She moved to Winchester from London 9 years ago, to work in substance misuse. Rachael is very happy to have joined the PCN Pharmacy team last year, she says, ‘they are an amazing team to work with, and I definitely have made Winchester my forever home.’
